Jewellery Care
Rings
To take care of your Sarah Ho rings, remove when engaging in activity that may cause the ring to be scratched such as exercising, gardening or cleaning. Avoid direct contact with harsh substances and remove when washing or sanitising hands.
Ceramic
This ceramic is non-porous so will resist most substances and stay mark free. However, if it does need cleaning use a small amount of alcohol-based hand sanitiser on a soft cloth and rub gently to remove any marks. Never use acetone or any other harsh chemicals.
Earrings
To take care of your Sarah Ho earrings, avoid direct contact with hairspray, perfume and cosmetics. Clean the earring studs frequently with an alcohol-based sanitiser and a soft cloth.
Colour plating
This colour is a surface treatment so every care should be taken to not let the item become scratched. If the areas with colour plating do require cleaning, do so gently with a dry soft cloth.
Necklace
To take care of your Sarah Ho necklace, avoid direct contact with hairspray, perfume and cosmetics. Also do take care if you are wearing a woven fabric, such as a jumper or scarf, near the chain or clasp as it may catch and cause damage to the jewellery or garment.
18ct Gold
Sarah Ho uses 18ct gold for the majority of the jewellery pieces. Gold is inert (unreactive) so will not cause an allergic reaction and will also not tarnish.
Bracelets and Cuffs
To take care of your Sarah Ho wrist wear, avoid direct contact with cleaning materials and perfumes and remove when washing.
Pearls
Natural and cultured pearls and are best kept in a soft-cloth pouch or a soft-lined jewellery box. Never store pearls in an airtight environment as they are organic and contain traces of water, so this may damage them. Do keep them away from hairsprays, cosmetics and any other chemical substances as this will damage the lustre of the nacre.
Titanium and Aluminium Alloy
This metal is resistant to most substances and will stay mark free. However, if it does require cleaning; use a soft cloth and small amount of warm, soapy water. Never use acetone or any other harsh chemicals.
Enamel
The enamel is non-porous so will resist most substances and stay mark free. However, if it does need cleaning use a small amount of alcohol-based hand sanitiser on a soft cloth and rub gently to remove any marks. Never use acetone or any other harsh chemicals.
